Shipping & Returns
At House Of Hauntz, we aim to deliver your Halloween experience quickly, safely, and transparently. Below is a full breakdown of our shipping methods, delivery timelines, and regional policies.
We can ship to all 50 States. If you reside in Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO, US Territories, the costs are based on a % of the order. Cannot ship to PO boxes.
When you place an order, it will be handled and tracking information provided within 2-3 business days. Weekends and holidays are not included. If you reside in Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO, US Territories, shipping times and delivery will depend upon location.
Standard Ground (3–7 Business Days)
Most orders ship via ground delivery within 3–7 business days. This includes in-stock items shipping from our warehouse or directly from our supplier.
Large or oversized items (such as animatronics or props) may require additional handling time.
2-Day Expedited
Need your order faster? We offer 2-Day Expedited shipping at checkout. Rates are calculated to reflect carrier costs fairly. Applies to most products, though some large or freight-tier props may not qualify for expedited delivery. Orders must be placed before 11:00 AM Central Time (Monday–Friday) for same-day processing eligibility. This is based on warehouse cutoffs and is not guaranteed. If an expedited option is selected for an ineligible item, we will contact you to adjust the order accordingly.
Overnight Shipping (By Request Only)
Overnight shipping is available for select items upon request. Rates vary depending on the item’s size, weight, and delivery location. To request overnight shipping, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide a custom quote. Requests must be submitted by 11:00 AM Central Time to be considered for same-day processing. This is warehouse-dependent and not guaranteed. Not available for oversized or freight-class items unless special arrangements are made in advance.
️APO/FPO Military Shipping
We proudly ship to APO/FPO military addresses. These orders typically ship via USPS Military Mail, in accordance with postal regulations.
Please note: fulfillment is handled by our warehouse partners, and delivery times may vary depending on location and carrier availability.
Alaska & Hawaii
We proudly ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Due to extended carrier zones and delivery costs, shipping rates are adjusted at checkout to reflect the additional distance and handling required. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on location and package size.
U.S. Territories
We ship to U.S. Territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Orders are usually shipped via USPS Priority or First-Class Mail, depending on item size and destination. Final carrier selection may vary based on our warehouse partners and regional availability.
⚠️ Important Notes
Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has been processed and is in transit. Large props or animatronics may have special shipping requirements and could be ineligible for expedited options, even if selected. If you have any questions about shipping timelines, expedited availability, or delivery to remote areas, please reach out before placing your order.
International Shipping
We’re happy to accommodate international orders. To request a shipping quote, please contact us with your full shipping address and the item(s) you’re interested in. Please note: Orders cannot be processed or shipped until a shipping quote has been provided and approved; All international quotes are generated by our warehouse team and may take 1–2 business days to complete; Quotes reflect carrier shipping costs only; Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not included and are the responsibility of the recipient upon delivery.
In the very unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during shipment, then we will work with you in rectifying. Please note that we cannot claim responsibility for loss, damage, or lateness due to the carrier.
Although rare, an item may occasionally be unavailable at the time of purchase due to our warehouse outlets not updating simultaneously. In the unlikely event that this happens to you, you will be issued an immediate refund with a sincere apology for the inconvenience.
Returns
We ask that you contact us directly before opening a return. We are happy to explore potential solutions with you, including the option of an exchange. If specific parts are required, there's a possibility we can arrange to have them sent directly to you.
All returns must be authorized. With many of our items being mechanical, the opportunity to rectify includes a request for photos of the item(s), photos of the original packaging or at times, video, to demonstrate the issue.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery. Once we are in receipt of the returned item, it must be inspected and deemed acceptable prior to any action being issued. At that time, an exchange or refund will be granted accordingly.
We are unable to accept any returns for items worn, stained, altered, have missing parts or smoke damage. Items such as costumes, undergarments, cosmetics, latex masks, wigs, facial hair, prosthetics, placed in mouth or face, socks or shoes must be unopened due to hygiene reasons.
Return Instructions and Restocking Fees:
Log into your account and go to your order history.
Find the item you wish to return.
Underneath the item, you will see a link that says "Return Items?" Click on this link.
Complete the return information as prompted.
We strive to ensure that our customers are happy with their purchases, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If you need to return an item due to buyer's remorse, please note the following:
Return Shipping Costs: For returns due to buyer's remorse, the return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee will be applied. This fee is imposed by our distribution center to help support the overall costs, such as the initial shipment and handling, especially since our props and animatronics are large and heavy. Additionally, we must consider the cost of processing the return and inspecting the item to ensure it is returned in "like new" condition.
Store Credit Option: As you complete the return, you have the option to receive a store credit. If you choose this option, in most instances, the 15% restocking fee can be waived.
Cancellations
Orders are processed quickly thru the largest warehouse of Halloween inventory in the country. When placed, your order goes immediately in line for processing and becomes active. Therefore, and in most cases, cancellation requests cannot be granted.
